Gentle Grooming for Puppies and Sensitive Pets
At Paws & Claws Grooming, every appointment begins with a temperament and history inquiry so the session can start with a clear picture of your pet's coat, comfort level, and handling needs. We then share pre-visit guidance to help you prepare for a calmer arrival and a smoother first impression.
Our studio works one household at a time, with no waiting area and no rush between pets. That quieter setup helps us assess comfort and handling step by step, then shape the groom around what your pet can manage safely on the day.
Calm, staged sessions with clear handover notes
A quieter way to approach grooming when a pet is young, unsure, or easily overwhelmed.
For puppies and sensitive pets, we offer introductory visits, grooming familiarization, short comfort-led grooms, and sensitive-pet bath and brush sessions. Some pets do best with a staged grooming plan over several short visits, usually within a range of two to four sessions, depending on coat condition and behavior.
A session may be paused, shortened, or adjusted if a pet shows significant stress, pain, aggression, breathing difficulty, or another welfare concern. If severe matting or coat condition makes a requested finish uncomfortable, a shorter practical result may be recommended instead.
